What do you think when someone says Senior Center?
Do you picture older people sitting around playing bingo, eating bland meals while a television is blaring in a dark, boring place? It's time to update your vision because you won't find any of that at the CSC!
Senior centers are not what they used to be!
We are a vibrant, action-packed center full of amazing people from all walks of life. We offer a wide array of programs and activities to foster a sense of community, encourage lifelong learning, and support healthy living. We strive to help our members lead fulfilling lives, filled with joy, purpose, and companionship.
We don't just play cards!
Sure, we play cards... and bingo, shuffleboard and rummikub, too. But CSC offers far more than that - everything from trips and special events to arts and crafts, fiber arts, ceramics, music and dance, learning programs, guest speakers, and fitness and health programs. We also provide health, medical and transportation resources and meal options.
We have a state of the art woodworking shop, a ceramics room with a kiln, a fiber arts room, a crafting room and a library. We can host concerts, special events, special meals and events and much more. There is always something fun, exciting and new happening at the CSC.
